Screening as a manager's second job
Operations business, 80 people. Applicants scored against the actual role.
Over 50%
Fewer first-pass screening hours
What it looked like before
An operations business of 80 people. First-pass screening had become a second job for the managers doing it.
What replaced it
Applicants are scored against the role, using the job itself and the people already doing it well. Recruiter and manager hours on first pass dropped by more than half.
What it still does not do
It rejects nobody. It ranks and it summarizes. Every interview decision stays with the manager.
How it was built
| Trained on | The job itself, and the profiles of the people already doing it well. |
|---|---|
| Runs in | Their accounts, on their billing, run by a named person on their team. We hand over the keys and the training that goes with them. |
